Nepal Yarn
The composition of our Nepal yarn is really out of the ordinary: 60% organic cotton and 28% linen are blended with 12% nettle fibres.
The mixture allows the yarn to be both sturdy and soft. The fact that it is twisted gives Nepal yarn a particularly beautiful and natural structure.
While the cotton for this vegan yarn comes from India, the linen and nettle come from Nepal. It is spun and dyed in Italy.
Nepal has excellent wearing properties: cotton makes it breathable, the linen content gives the yarn a pleasant feel and the nettle fibre ensures a nice soft feel and a delicate sheen. This makes Nepal yarn the perfect basis for airy tops, but it is warm enough to be a nice all-year-round yarn.
Nepal is wonderful for light sweaters or cardigans, as well as accessories such as knitted or crocheted scarves. This light yarn is easy to handle and feels very pleasant on the skin. What makes it stand out is its natural, vibrant colours. Furthermore, the yarn is particularly durable; garments made from it tend not to stretch and do not wear out easily.
Tip: It is advisable to always order enough yarn for your desired model to ensure you knit your entire project with yarn of the same dye batch. In case of doubt, please make a gauge sample immediately after receiving the yarn. In this way, you can estimate whether you have ordered sufficient quantity and, if necessary, reorder directly.

Care
Knitted garments with Nepal can be washed in the washing machine at 86°F (30°C). It is advisable to use a mild detergent and choose a delicate cycle. Dry flat, preferably on a terry towel, to avoid stretching. Under no circumstances should you dry it directly on a heat source or in the blazing sun! If necessary, the knitted piece can be ironed at the lowest temperature setting.
